3. For homework, use this website to gather the Fab 5 Facts about your planet. (Fab 5 Facts: name of planet, number of moons, number of rings (if any), distance from the sun, and how long it takes to orbit the sun). http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/astronomy/planets/index.shtml
4. Take these quizzes individually. If you are incorrect, write down the question with the correct answer and hand it in as an additional homework assignment.
Closure:
To wrap up the lesson, students should combine all of the notes that they have acquired since the beginning of the lesson and make a PowerPoint presentation. Make sure for each planet, the Fab 5 Facts are included in the presentation.
Extension:
For a challenge, have students make a 3D representation of the planet that they were given. Have the students present the lesson to their classmates.
